The seasons have changed and I’m excited to Sunset Qigong at the Park. I hope to Qi you there.
I’m looking forward to Swimming Dragon, Wu Chi Qigong, Five Animal Frolic and Gods Playing in the Clouds.
Qigong is perfect for all ages and athletic conditions. Loosen the joints, stretch the muscles, lower the stress and clear the head. It's is more relaxed than Pilates, less complex than Tai Chi, and a lot more fun than yoga.
Qigong is a holistic system of self –healing exercise and meditation. Its movements are designed to reduce stress and increase energy. It’s appropriate for all ages and virtually all athletic/medical conditions. Qigong (Chi Gung) is both safe and simple to learn. It can be practiced any time a day or night, at home or at work, indoors or outdoors, without requiring any special equipment, expensive facilities or athletic skills, and only the most basic training.
It will help to lower blood pressure, relieve anxiety, lower weight, and improve your sex life. Qigong involves various degrees of gentle movement or stillness of the body, balanced with rhythmically regulated breathing, all quietly harmonized by a calm, unhurried focused mind. If you enjoy yoga, you’ll love Qigong.
Don’t worry if you have never done Qigong or if you miss a week. Each session will stand on its own but also refresh and reinforce the previous sessions. The program is enjoyed by both beginners and experienced Qigong practitioners.
