Christmas Ships Walk & Dinner at Old Spaghetti Factory

First we'll have dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory and then we'll go on the Christmas Ships Walk sponsored by the Columbia River Volkssport Club. We've made dinner reservations for 20. http://www.osf.com/

2012 marks the 58th year for the Christmas Ship Parade on the Columbia and Willamette Rivers in Portland. On December 15, at 5:00 PM, both fleets will leave RiverPlace Marina (downtown Portland) headed to Lake Oswego, arriving about 6:15 PM - 6:30 PM, subject to weather and river conditions. The ships will go as far as George Rogers Park, remaining in the area until about 7:30 PM before turning and heading back to Portland.

The check-in for the walk is at the Buffalo Gap Pub & Eatery, which is 1.5 miles from the OSF. We're planning on checking in for the walk before we arrive at the OSF so that we have the map and can leave from the OSF after dinner. We encourage you to do the same if you are planning on joining us for the walk.

Great conversation and food at the beautifully decorated OSF. Then a wonderful night-time walk along the Willamette River with a clear view of the Christmas Ships on their way back to Portland.

We got a break from the rain for the Christmas Ship walk after a great dinner. Weather was surprisingly clear and comfortable, few other walkers later in the evening. We had wonderful views of the ships. Glad we were able to make reservations, as restaurant was very crowded. OSF is always a favorite at this time of year.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
