Rancho San Antonio (6.5 miles)

This is a moderate hike that is half in open space, half shaded.

There is a great vista view at the top of this trail.

The trailhead is in the lower parking lot near the public restrooms. Parking can be extremely difficult, especially on the weekends. I suggest getting there early or planning on carpooling. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks / sandwich, and sunscreen.

This is not a dog friendly park.

--

Day of the hike:

1. Arrive early, parking is very difficult here. I highly recommend carpooling. The hike will start promptly at 1:15PM. Plan accordingly.

2. Our meeting point is at the bridge (near the bathrooms) located in the lower parking lot. Once entering the preserve, follow Rancho San Antonio Service Road to the end, it will take you to the lower lot. If that lot is full, use any of the other lots and you can walk to the lower lot.

3. Bring water and a hat along with some snacks / light lunch. We will break at the vista point for a break / lunch.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
