Yosemite Dual Sport Adventure 2014

September 27th & 28th, 2014 (Weekend Event)

The Yosemite Dual Sport Adventure is an AMA Sanctioned dual sport event held at the gateway to Yosemite National Park, Buck Meadows California and is open to any make or model of street legal motorcycle.

This two day, GPS based, self-guided adventure includes scenic & historic destinations in and around Yosemite National Park and the Stanislaus National Forest. Using paved and unpaved roads with options of "hard" & "easy" splits, you’ll have approximately 100 miles of fun each day! "Easy" routes are perfect for beginning riders or large adventure bikes while experienced riders will have the opportunity to be challenged by choosing "hard" splits. All routes are approximately 85% dirt and "hard" splits are longer (more dirt!).

Event is operated under permit from the Stanislaus National Forest and limited to 150 riders so register early! This event caters to ALL street legal dual sport motorcycles.
Registration Fee:

Registration for this event is $109 per person for AMA member and $119 for non-AMA members. One day tickets are available $69 for AMA members or $79 for non-AMA members. Passengers are half-price. Add $31.00 per ticket for late registration. 150 rider limit so register early!

Do you need knobby or dual sport or is street tires on a super Moto okay? Not sure it's trail rides or just dirt and gravel roads.

I've ridden street tires on gravel and dirt roads many times without issues but not real off road heavy duty trails. Have only done that on my green sticker dirt bikes on forest trails and single tracks.

Are there paved roads 100% of the time? Not sure I could take my bike on anything else.

Hector, the roads will be 80% dirt. Ideal for dual sport, not ideal for a street bike.
