Join us for an evening launch and a Saturday night spent paddling with some good folk. Please arrive before 6:30 p.m. to be on the water at 7:00 p.m. I like to paddle about 6 miles at this location by going from one end to the other. We will pass our launch site half-way through, so there is an option to bail out. At night it is important to stick together as a group so we ask each participant to stay close.
The lights of the homes at night are lovely.
Sunset should be about 8:33 p.m. and moonrise is approximately 8:41 p.m. We will have the light of the moon to pack up our gear to. We need to be back to our launch site just before 9:30 p.m.
To paddle with us you will need a PFD and we strongly recommend two lights. A headlamp and one in the back of your boat. One of the lights has to have 360 degree visibility.
There are bathrooms at our launch site, but might not be open in the evening.
