This free event celebrates real food - sustainably and fairly grown, and free of genetic modification. The Fair will feature live music, speakers, organic and regionally-produced foods from local businesses, cooking demonstrations, and a farmers’ market. Panel discussion topics include Food Integrity in Our Local Systems, Social Responsibility: Pathways to Community Well Being, and Community Gardens Responding to Community Needs. A keynote address by Tezozomoc, community garden advocate and National Defense Council’s Growing Green Food Justice Leader of 2013, will highlight the event. See http://ggfood.org/schedule/ for a full schedule of events.
