Info Session: Terra Madre & Salone del Gusto 2014

Every two years, Slow Food members from all over the world come together at Terra Madre in Turin, Italy, to celebrate our global food community and to learn from a diverse array of experiences and challenges that come from working for good, clean, fair food. Our info session will illuminate past experiences of Terra Madre and Salone del Gusto and will introduce us to the upcoming plans for this year's event.  We will drink wine, break bread, and hear about travel options to experience this wonderful event first-hand, courtesy of Slow Food Boston partner, Food.Stories.Travel.  Have you already attended Terra Madre & Salone del Gusto?  Fantastico!  We would love to hear your story during this evening of food and community.

While there is no charge for admission to this event, due to limited capacity, we do ask that you RSVP if you plan to attend.

Those who signed up to attend should have attended; they missed a really terrific presentation!

I really wish I could go, but I'm going for a walk with my mom :(

At least it will be a beautiful walk around Horn Pond in Woburn!

Janet, info about parking here below:
The best opportunities for evening parking here are along the street, which is free after 6pm. Otherwise, there is a parking garage a few minutes' walk away at 350 Kendall Street, which is accessible by turning left onto 3rd Street from Broadway/Main and then right onto Kendall Street, where you'll find the entrance. By the T, our address at 101 Main Street is just a few minutes' walk from the Kendall Square / MIT station on the red line, on the left side of the street as you walk down Main Street towards the Longfellow Bridge - just past the American Red Cross building.

I am terribly sad that I cannot make this meeting I have been anticipating this years Terra Madre. If I could only reschedule my trip that week.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
