"You teach me how, you watch me learn and I'll teach you something you have never known." PJM
Both Rachel and Nancy had never been on skies before. After a 1.5 hour lesson we all went for a 11 km trek and they were quite phenomenal to say the least. I now believe that one of the greatest values we can offer is to help one person at a time to take one step in the right direction. It won't be long before they will return the favor to teach others...keep it simple and slow and steady!.
    Thanks for the lessons everyone....

Everyday is a great day to be a student :D the Canmore Nordic center was just the place for learning and practicing some new XC ski techniques. The snow and ski were equally amazing. But didn't top the company :) Thanks for a wonderful day everyone!!! .... Oh and nice to see you too Ken :-p

Hi - I'm reading your info. from Victoria - heading to Calgary this week. Won't be coming to this evening unfortunately 'cos I've never cross-country skied and I would be out of my league. However, I would love to do some walking/hiking with the group. Is there another event coming soon I could attend? I'm between Victoria and Calgary for the next few months. Thanks Kate
