Slow & steady, always ready...a hike up Ha Ling became a luge run down Sulphur. Learn to live in anticipation of the moment, and you'll expect the unexpected and ferret out the fun. This was a good day...worth remembering! Starting with a great coffee at Mercato's in Canmore (Shellie's favorite) followed by the Bear Aware to learn how bears are identified, captured. transported, tagged and relocated. We became seasoned pros with Bear Spray... Peter's form was flawless realizing afterwards the bear wasn't real but he shot it anyways cuz he said it looked board.
Bad weather turned worse and we headed to Sulphur Mtn. where Master Woo lead the charge to the top in record time literally running the last 30 meters - ya should have seen it. Going down can be boring so to stave off the whiners (you know who you are) we created luge runs to enjoy off-trail slope maneuvers. The Hot Springs and Banff Ave. Brewery (thanks Daniel) completed the day. Remember to achieve the summit is only halfway.

Hey Paul I'm planning on RSVP'ing tomorrow. However, I'm having the same problem as last time in that I cannot find Question #1? Just being proactive here:)

I plan on attending the bear info session anyway, as I live in Canmore, but I have an appointment back in Calgary Sat evening, so heading up Ha Ling with you (it would be my 25th ascent of it) may leave that timeline a bit tight for me. I won't put myself on the list, but I'll watch for those of you who have posted your photos and say hello if I recognize you at the bear aware segment.
