It'll never cease to amaze me how mountains can teach with every step to push the horizon further and further... I can't imagine that my first time with Slow & Steady Hikers could be any better! Thanks everyone for a wonderful time!

Howling on Ha Ling - the Wolf Pack made it "there and back again". Going up we met those coming down having turned back without savoring victory...not us though. Icy trails in the trees and "Rachel deep" snow above tree line added an adventure with each step - icers were essential and snowshoes would have helped. Past the snow and onto the scree with blowing snow was absolutely awesome!. Got everyone to the top in a huddled frozen mass but with big smiles and a new feather in their peak bagger cap. We were in a difficult place, but with good people, that made all the difference. Thank you everyone. I'd like to continue the journey with each of you!
