This hike is part of three hiking trails ,which are Powerface,Prairie Link and Prairie Creek trail. Total distance is 11.4 km.There is no huge elevation or hills to climb just meandering up and down thru forest and open meadow. On th Prairie Ck section you come to a high area with canyon walls to a high point and a great veiw, perfect stop for lunch I have done this hike several times over the years and is a nicer alternative to Fullerton Loop.
What to Bring: Backpack with water, lunch and snacks, warm jacket ,good hiking boots, hiking poles if you use them, bear spray if you have it,plactic bag to put muddy hiking boots into and a pair of runners to change into. Also if you are a passenger give your driver $10 for gas.The trail head is the Powerface parking lot right after Beaver Lodge parking lot if you want to meet there around 10am.
I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
