Midnight & Half-Past Midnight Peak - Very Strenuous Hike/S6 Scramble - Advanced Hikers Only

Saturday, June 15, 2013 - 8:00 AM

View of the summit cairn of Midnight peak looking towards the pointy summit of Half-past Midnight our goal

From the summit 3 options available for the return trip.

Midnight Peak's unofficial name comes courtesy of Art Davis, who led a group of Rocky Mountain Ramblers up to it's top on October 21, 1973.  Attempting to find another way down, they got hung up above cliffs and didn't get back to their cars until midnight.

RSVP & you will be put on the WAITLIST until all RSVP questions are answered. Only advanced hikers will be allowed on this trip. This is not a T3 trip!

Waivers: As per the new policy for waivers, I will bring the group waiver form with me to both the Calgary Meetup location and the trailhead. It looks like we may start out with a nice day tomorrow but could have showers in the afternoon. Come prepared! Attached is the forecast for Mt. Baldy which is close to our trip:
