Cox Hill

The plan is to go up Cox Hill from the Dawson trailhead. This of course depends on the conditions ( washouts, bridges down etc.) If Cox Hill is undoable the alternative is Eagle Hill. Both trailheads are very close to each other.
Both are intermediate level hikes

Option 1
Cox Hill:
Distance: 12.4 km RT
Elevation: 923 meters
High Point: 2219 meters
Cox Hill is a fantastic viewpoint ( even better than Moose Mountain as it is part of the view) It is also the highest point on the Trans Canada trail.

Option 2
Eagle Hill
Distance: 14.5 km RT
Elevation: 390 meters
Max elevation: 1713 meters
Nice hike to a very good viewpoint at the northern edge of K Country. There are 2 ways to do this hike. One goes over a ridge but is shorter and the other option goes by the Moose pond, is longer but flatter. Deer Ridge could be done on the return also.

This is one of my favourite hikes. It's a good workout, but it is not technically challenging. The company was great. I think we all had fun.

    Hey Andy and Karen,
I know it would be a guesstimate but I was just wondering if you had an idea of what time we'd be returning to Shouldice after the hike?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
