Just notice require a mountain helmet for this hike, which I don't have. (Andy, sorry for late notice of opt-out.)

We should all think first before we comment on a public site. This led to more than jsut one hiker not knowing what was going on. In future contact the organizer directly with any concerns.

My bad :( Of course I had no concerns with this hike, and that comment was written in a haste just to tell the organizer that I might not show up.

Just another day in "Paradise" Valley. Great group of hikers and although we kept a good pace we had our share of breaks enjoying the views. It was also nice to meetup with Jessica's group after in the pub.

Still, still, I'm not decided. The hikes I want either don't have drivers or require helmets.

If I am not at Shouldice on time, please do not wait for me!!!

You should consider buying a helmet!!! They've got some funky cool colours!!

Where is the unlike button? :) Most likely this is my last summer in Calgary (who knows if I'll see the mountains after I leave), I can't suffer a helmet (I already sweat too much) and, most importantly, trips that require helmets are outside my ability. I am afraid of doing moderate scrambles.

Sorry Andy, but I can't reach Shouldice in this rain. (I mean, I can't ask someone to take me all wet and dripping water in his car).

Is this a Banff area or Kananaskis area hike?

    July 9, 2013

  • Dave A.

I think the hike Andy is referring starts at a trail head that is 2.5 km up the Moraine Lake road not far from Lake Louise.

    July 9, 2013

    • Andy D.

      That is correct Dave.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
