HIKE the COX HILL

This trail leads to fabulous panorama of the sourrounding hills and mountains. The way up is a steady moderate ascent through forest with only a couple of spots for veiws,but you are rewarded at the summit with a 360 degree veiw and of Yumnuska,Moose Mtn.and the Hunchback Hills. The total return distance is 13.2Km,elevation gain is 690M.Allow 5-6 hrs for this hike plus 2 hrs. driving time. Please bring proper hiking gear and lunch ,snacks and plenty of water.No running shoes.We will be going at a steady moderate pace with plenty of stops for rest and water breaks.If you have any questions about this hike or what gear to bring email me or text or phone me at[masked]-3790.     Don't dispare about the bridge washout.There was a hike with about 18 people about 3 weeks ago and they all made it,across.Also there is a couple of logs laid across the creek to cross on.The creek should be much lower by the time we get out there.

    Wayne the bridge was gone when we went a few weeks ago expect to cross the creek on some logs or bring water shoes creek was 2-3 feet deep and moving fast.
