Ha Ling is a 6 KM hike ( roundtrip ) with an elevation gain of 750 meters.
I would say it is anywhere from a 3 1/2 to 4 hour hike at a relaxed pace. It is a very popular summit in the Canmore area.
I am not going to lie to you it is very steep but it is trail all the way. It is an easier first summit for strong beginners and the views are great.
This was our first posted trip as Slow and Steady.
Waivers: As per the new policy for waivers; I will bring the group waiver form with me to both the Calgary Meetup location and the trailhead.
