Gunnery Mountain, Snowshoes/hike off trail!

Off trail hike/snowshoes trip, no sure what condition it will be there.

Between 10 to 15kms and 5 to 600m elevation!

This is a lot depending on the snow condition!

The group will be limited between 6 and 10.

We'll add you on the trip when questions will be answered when you RSVP.

You will NOT be considered for this trip if you do not answer all questions!

Please, plan to have enough water as well as lunch and snacks.

Gas fees are $15 per passenger for this trip.

Please, allow yourself to be 10 min early to the meeting point to arrange carpooling.

 

Difficulty Rating: Strenuous Day trip, be ready to "loop around".

 

As usual, the group will stay together for safety reason!

 

Required Gear:

Crampons/micro spikes, snoweshoes ,hiking boots good for winter conditions, mitts/gloves, toque, gaiters, hiking poles, sunglasses layered clothing, wind proof jacket, headlamp with extra batteries, food and water.

Gas Money: $15.00 per person.

WAIVERS: Your consent is required for attending this event. You will be asked to provide the name and phone number of an emergency contact. Please read the Waiver by clicking HERE.

Your Hosts are volunteers and not trained guides. All participants are responsible for assessing the current road conditions, current weather conditions, your current physical condition, current trail conditions and current avalanche conditions for the trip and you are responsible for your safety and well-being. You are fully prepared with proper gear and you're physically fit to do this hike with the group.

No dinner planned, we should be back in Calgary by 5pm.
