PRAIRIE MOUNTAIN MICRO SPIKE HIKE

This is a tough hike though only a little over 3km. one way is 701M elevation,for about 7 km. return.You are rewarded with 360 degree panorama view.We will meet at the A+W and carpool from there.If coming from north Calgary you may wish to drive to the trailhead from hi-way #1 thru Bragg Ckto #66.We will park at the closed off winter gates at Elbow Falls dayuse area.There are washrooms there.We should arive at the trailhead at about 9;50a.m.My cell is 403-818-3790 if you need further clarification.

REQUIRED GEAR ETC.You will need a lunch with backpack,snacks water.Micro spikes are a must,don't sign up if you don't have any.Icers or yak tracks are useless on this hike.Bring your winter outer wear and poles and gaiters if you use them.Total hike time should be under 4 hrs.plus 1.75 hrs total drive time.For those who want we can stop at the bakery in Bragg Ck.afterward for coffee/snack.Everyone will be required to sign the wavier before we star hiking with a provided emergency contact number.
