Calgary, ABCanada T2V 0E1

I'm recently retired so can and do hike mid week and weekends ---- basically anywhere within easy driving distance of Calgary (Kananaskis, Banff National Park). Have been down to Waterton several times for hiking, and the annual wild flower and wild life festivals. Prefer medium distance and elevation gain with occasional more challenging trips such as Carthew Alderson in Waterton.
Lots of experience of trail hiking and some limited experience of snow shoeing over the last three years.
I fit right into the category of a "slow and steady" hiker. I have been hiking since I was a lad and for the last 30 years most of that hiking has been in the Canadian Rockies. I like observing wild life and wild flowers and stopping to take photos.
Friendly and diverse group of people.
