Don't make me choose - although Stalag 17 would probably win. (Fail-Safe is another. And Lawrence of Arabia. And Yojimbo...)
I shouldn't say "Iron Sky", but I did enjoy that one a lot. "Five Minutes of Heaven" was probably the best "art" movie I have seen in quite a while - and "Sound of Noise" was interestingly different. But now that I think about it, Cemetery Junction probably tops the list.
I'm not current on what's, erm, current. Hence: new member.
Been a movie buff for a long time, TCM (Turner Classic Movies) was my favorite channel when I had cable, then came Netflix. I'm not a student of film, but have seen a lot of the best and many other excellent movies that are off the beaten path.
