Are you starting something new? Are you facing a problem or issue you'd like to get some help with? You may just find what you need at the Boulder County IDEA Café w/Mentoring Moment.
Each 2nd & 4th Friday, we get together to share startup stories, fresh ideas, and information to help us get started in a new direction. We invite a couple of experienced business owners to share startup experience. We lead you on a Fresh Idea Hunt, and we provide a Mentoring Moment with valuable information and perspectives to help you launch your new endeavor.
You can RSVP here or via a link on our Facebook Page to Facebook event, see http://Facebook.com/Small.Business.Chamber
What is the IDEA Cafe? Since 1994, IDEA Cafe meetings have helped people who are starting a new career, a new project or campaign, or a new business.
We take our name from our 4-step entrepreneurship model: I- Inspiration; D- Develop Alternatives; E- Evaluate the Alternatives; and A- Take Action! Once we take action we get new information and we go through the process again.
How do we help? We learn from the startup experiences of others, we brainstorm to solve problems and develop ideas, we connect each other with valuable resources, and we share information about upcoming events, new books, magazine articles, and useful websites and apps.
And sometimes the most valuable part of the session is the meeting after the meeting when discussion continues between new friends.
Meetings are free and open to everyone; we just ask that you bring your own brain for the brainstorming!
Who should attend? Anyone who is heading in a new direction, be it starting a new career, new project or campaign, or a new business, as well as those seeking a personal boost at the end of the week from like-minded entrepreneurs.
