Websites have evolved way beyond digital brochures into lead capture machines. Is your business website providing you prospects? Does your website show up in a decent position when you search the Internet?

In this presentation, we will review the elements of a successful business website; provide specific steps that will improve your website and its ability to capture leads.

We will also review and audit a real website from one of our members giving them an improvement plan. (If you're interested in participating contact the organizers to sign up)

About the presenters:

Adam Blake, CoFounder & COO, ThriveHive

Adam is currently Co-Founder and COO at ThriveHive, where he specializes in the development and implementation of marketing strategies for small businesses. He also currently serves as an Entrepreneur In Residence at the MIT Entrepreneurship Center where he advises early stage startups on marketing, sales, financing, technology, and general business issues. Prior to ThriveHive Adam founded a consumer electronics business, Pear Cable, which he bootstrapped into a profitable company selling products around the world. Before Pear Cable, Adam served as the Director of Fuel Cell Technology Development at CellTech Power, a developer of novel fuel cells. Adam holds three patents (with one pending), received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts Univers ity and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management with a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Chris Wight, Senior HivePro, ThriveHive

Chris Wight has been working in Online Marketing for 10 years, with a focus on Search Engine Marketing. He has worked for some of the top Interactive agencies in the country and managed campaigns for businesses ranging from Fortune 500s to startups. He has been a small business owner himself, and now is ThriveHive's Senior HivePro, helping other small business owners get the most out of their digital marketing.
