Meet at the Dog Park

Coming from Washington Avenue, immediately after you pass Presumbscot Street, look to the left for a SMALL brown sign for the dog park.   Immediately after you enter the driveway, look for a gate on your left.  Pass thru the first gate and look to your left for the secondary gate that gives access to the small dog enclosure.  It is visible from the street.

****Please be sure to "reserve," that is, let others know you are        going.  If no one else reserves, I won't go either.  The idea is that when you participate, your dog will have another dog to play with. *****

If you have any problems with the facility, please add your voice and call Nathan Robins, park ranger, 797-4597.  He is part time, so ask him to call you back.

So glad we went! Hugo wore himself out and we met some great pups and owners. And it didn't hurt that the weather was so amazing.

I'm probably not going tip be there either, for another month, it's still really mucky and yucky...we're going to the beach instead...while we still can (before the season starts.)

1:32 a.m. Thursday: Already sent you text msg earlier today. 5 to 6:30 pm, public service building, 55 Portland Street. Thursday a.m. I'm going to call that building and ask for details.

Ann, I wasn't asking for my benefit, but for others. If you don't provide those important details, the likelihood of other people coming is slim. Generally speaking, most people don't want to have to research details. If they are readily available, they are much more apt to attend if possible.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
