Gower Street in the grounds of First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood. After the play, the group will go for coffee and discussion at the 101 Coffee Shop, located 0.2 miles away at 6145 Franklin Avenue. Please note: this is not the musical version of the story!!

PLEASE don't RSVP 'Yes' unless you intend to purchase a ticket immediately; also, please make sure there are still spots left before you purchase your ticket.

The play: The group will meet at 7:30pm to see Thornton Wilder's comedy "The Matchmaker" at the Actors Co-op's David Schall theater, located at 1760 N. Gower Street in the grounds of First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood. This charming farce, complete with mistaken identities and hijinks galore, centers on businessman and penny-pincher Horace Vandergelder and his pursuit of love with the help of social hurricane and matchmaker extraordinaire, Mrs. Dolly Levi.

The play actually starts at 8pm, but the group will gather earlier in the lobby so that everyone can say hello and have time to take their seats before it begins.

After the play: The group will go for coffee and discussion at the 101 Coffee Shop, located 0.2 miles away at 6145 Franklin Avenue. Note that the show is 2 hours and 20 min long including one intermission.

Tickets: Full price tickets cost $30 from the production website. Discount tickets are also currently available for $15 + $3.50 fees (with a promo code) from Plays411, $15 + $4 fees from LA Stage Alliance, or $15+$4.50 fees from Goldstar.

Parking and access: They have their own free parking lot on Carlos Avenue, very close to the theater. You can find directions, parking and handicap info on Goldstar's Actors Co-op page. [Note the info here says Carlos Street - I think it should be Avenue.]
