I loved the informal formality of it all or should that be the formal informality?

Met some new people as well as some familiar faces - all very interesting people.

The gigettes were opened by Rick who sang a sad song about someone about to leave someone else. The song was simple and got the emotion across well.

Susie B sang a song about London. Nice voice and a good song which simply described why she loved London.

Next in line was a duo, a guy playing the tamba (?) and Yasminel on the keyboards. Liked the adventurous rhythms reminiscent of the near East. Rosie Shy was last and sang about how boring it's when the other person starts getting "serious." She confessed afterwards that she was battling with her inner punk. Later I discreetly checked the safety pins on the table :-)

Thanks Felix and your assistants for a nice evening and we all got on like a houses on fire but without setting off the smoke detectors.

Hi guys, I wonder if any of you have recorded something that you would allow a film student to use for his final project? He wants to use something by the Swedish band Junip, but has been unable to get in touch with them, and now he needs to finish editing within a week.
The film is a beautiful story about an old man who recently became a widow and moved to a retirement home. He misses his wife and feels miserable, until one day he discovers he has super powers - he can move objects with his mind and perhaps even fly. The script won a prize before he even started filming, and I'm proud to have a part in it (I'm the evil head nurse, who keeps stopping him from using his powers…). Anyway, have a listen to Junip:
