The Colorado Springs Sno Jets club is unique in that it was established long before MeetUp.com came into existence. In reality, we have more than 200 members that you don't see listed on this site. As a result, the RSVP responses aren't reflective of actual interest or participation in an event.
For example, on Nov. 21, we had about 40 people join the fun in our Bowling Party and dinner afterward (and a spontaneous night of karaoke after that!); however, only 2 had RSVP'd "Yes" on this page. So, you can see it's a bit deceptive. You can safely assume that our events will be well attended, even if posted "Yes" responses here seem small. Again, the vast majority of our members are not listed here. (But we're working on it...)
We established a presence here on MeetUp.com to let others know about our wide variety of both summer and winter activities and to expand our membership. An annual membership is just $41 a year, which is less than $.80 a week. Please read on to learn more about the Sno Jets, then be sure to visit www.snojets.org to download monthly newsletters or to join.

Welcome to Southern Colorado’s oldest, non-profit ski and social club right here in beautiful Colorado Springs, with over 290 paid members! Open to adults 21 and older, this group of on-the-go yet easygoing Coloradans offers a host of activities, events and entertainment year-round.
Winter is highlighted with at least 8 organized ski trips to some of the area’s best resorts, plus one or two beyond our borders. Between these trips, connect with other members and head to the mountains for a day of sun and fresh powder, or plan a weekend of back-to-back runs. Of course, there’s more to the season than just skiing; you can always find someone to snow bike, snowshoe, snowboard, ice skate or play broomball or ice hockey with.
Summer activities are even more diverse, ranging from canoe and camping trips to bi-weekly bike rides and golf outings; Sky Sox games and co-ed softball to tubing and rafting; themed Wednesday Night Dinners and happy hours to pig roasts, concerts, our annual Moab trek and so much more.
It’s the perfect atmosphere to meet new people with like interests. Couples and singles are welcome; bring your friends or make new ones while having a great time.
FOR MORE INFORMATION, simply visit www.snojets.org and check out our upcoming events and activities in our newsletter and calendar. Also, join us for our weekly social/meeting every Thursday starting Oct. 1 at the Dublin House, 1850 Dominion Way, just off Academy and Dublin. Social hour begins at 6:30 p.m., meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: We have more than 290 ACTIVE PAID MEMBERS; the number of members listed through MeetUp.com merely represents those who have indicated an interest online since our initial posting on July 8, 2009. An official, 1-year Sno Jets membership, which runs from September to September, is just $41 per person. If you only want to join for the summer, a summer membership is $25.
You're welcome to participate in our activities and events before joining to get a better feel for the club; there's no pressure, but we think you'll quickly see the value in officially joining and reaping even more benefits. (For example, the organized ski trips, which feature incredible savings on transportation, accommodations, etc., are only available to paid members.) You can join online in mere seconds at www.snojets.org OR sign up in person at any Thursday night event at The Dublin House. We'd love to have you!
