Donating Blood

A couple of us are planning on donating whole blood and thought it might be fun for more of you to join us! We can even play some small, quick games in the waiting room while the rest of the group is giving blood and while we wait for our blood sugars to go back to normal :-) You can schedule your own donation time by calling[masked] or going online at psbc.org The current group that is planning on going is scheduled to donate about 9:30 AM on this day.

More information about donating blood can be found at: http://www.psbc.org/programs/blood.htm

I encourage you all to help out your community and to give what you can, but understand if you can't (or if needles aren't your thing, etc)

I am not eligible to donate blood since having cancer. They denied me. It was sad. I cried. But then I got over it.

You might want to call and check (and I will need to do the same for my meds) because I think the NSAIDs you can give blood, just not platelets

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
