Home gardening, gardening for market, permaculture, organic gardening, survival gardening, chicken tractoring, community gardens and community supported agriculture.

Some activities to include, seed swaps, plant swaps and garden tours of those willing to share. And just a general pooling of information and knowledge with like minded people.

Also, many home gardeners have surpluses, but not enough to justify having their own booth at the Farmer’s market, but if we pool resources and share manning a booth, we could have an outlet for sales to help support our own gardening efforts.

In these hard economic times, it is great to encourage our community to turn their lawns to food.
