For anyone without a Discover pass, If you park in the Rattlesnake parking lot you don't need a pass.

Does the Iron Horse parking lot have a gate that locks your car in after a certain time? I know we are going early so it shouldn't be an issue, but at rattlesnake I took longer then anticipated and my car ended up being locked in for the night.

I'm not sure if there is a gate but we will be done within a couple of hours so we will be fine. They do not close the gates until dusk.

Sorry, that is my last day to go snowboarding at the summit, so I'm going to do that. (if the weather is nice enough.) But if it's too cold or raining, then I would rather hike with you guys... LoL.

Will it be alright that my pace isn't very fast yet?

Yes, we have hikers at all different levels/pace and never leave anyone behind. There is only one part of this hike that is elevated so you will should be fine. :)
