I won't be making it out today. Have a wonderful time in the snow!

    March 9, 2013

  • Arnie Z

The ArnieBus is full. I'm picking up Eric at Kingsgate at 9:05 and Joe, Jo, Carol, & Chee Wei at Eastgate (west side) at 9:30. I'm bringing snowshoes and poles for Chee Wei and Dee G. will be coming with but I don't yet know where we'll be meeting.

It's gonna be gorgeous tomorrow! See ya then.

    1 · March 8, 2013

  • Arnie Z

Carol, OK how about if Eric and I pick you up at 9:30 at the Eastgate P&R on the west side of the structure? I have room for three more passengers as well.

    1 · March 4, 2013

    • Abhishek

      From eastgate p&r

      March 6, 2013

    • Arnie Z

Abhishek: Oops - I just found your message. My minivan is full but if others are meeting at the Eastgate P&R I'm pretty certain you could catch a ride. Also, cause the temperatures have been warm there shouldn't be any snow on the roads if you want to drive yourself.

      March 8, 2013

  • Heather

A sudden and rather horrendous chest cold has rendered this trip out of the question. Dangit.

    March 5, 2013

Maybe the kings gate group could pick us up on their travels south. Otherwise, I live a few blocks from Audubon elementary, less than half mile from Idylwood park.

    March 3, 2013

    • Victoria

It sounds like Eastgate is the place, as no one replied about the MLT TC...

      March 4, 2013

Joe, Arnie is driving us, so he is your man to ask!

      March 4, 2013

  • Dhanashri K

Hi all, I am a first-timer here and in snow-shoeing as well. Is there a checklist of stuff to carry for newbies? Also how long does this event last usually? TIA!

I need snowshoes if they would fit a women's size 8!

      March 3, 2013

  • Marc

For those of us in the Seattle area who'd like a ride, there is another option if we don't get one: The Shuttle to Snoqualmie, which stops in West Seattle, downtown Seattle & Bellevue. It's $35 R/T and would drop us off @ 9am on Snoqualmie Pass. Reservations are required. Here's the link: http://seattleskishuttle.com/ride-snoqualmie/

    1 · March 3, 2013

    • Colleen F.

marc, where do we pick this up? in downtown?

      March 3, 2013

    • Marc

Yes, @ the Grand Hyatt (721 Pine, 7:45), or W Seattle or Bellevue. But don't forget to make a reservation! :-)

Hi, I'm coming from the Greenlake area. Anyone have room in their car and and I'll chip in for gas? :)

    March 3, 2013

  • Jo S.

I live in the Bellevue/Redmond area and would also like a ride (I have never driven in snow!) I also need to know what time we would be getting back so that I can arrange for my daughter. Anyone able to help out with either of these requests? TIA!

    March 3, 2013

    • Jo S.

ULove to ride with either of you and happy to pitch in for gas as well! I live by Idlewood park, so am close to you, Carol. Where is Kingsgate?

      March 3, 2013

    • Jo S.

That gives me a ballpark, thx!

      March 3, 2013

  • Marc

Hi, I'm seeking a ride from Seattle. Does anyone have any room? I'll pay $15 for gas. Thanks.

    March 3, 2013

  • Colleen F.

does anyone have an extra seat in their car? i live in ballard but can meet up anywhere in greater seattle.

    March 2, 2013

  • Victoria

Might anyone up for carpooling from the MLT TC?

    February 25, 2013

    • Victoria

Again, I could drive and have room for at least 2, maybe 3...

      March 2, 2013

  • Rebecca De Grand D.

Can somebody please tell me if each person will need to pay for a ticket to access where the snowshoe outing will take place? I am unclear on that.
I have been to the area with 2 groups neither of which I had to pay for a ticket. With the one group it was on an annual event sponsored through an organization of which I am a member though. So we only paid for our bus pass to get to the ski resort.
The other group I went with on the ski hill was mid-week when practically nobody was there. So I did not have to buy a ticket on that outing either.
But from the link provided in the description, it looks like you have to pay for a ticket. Is this correct?

    March 1, 2013

  • Jo S.

how long a hike is this? I need to arrange child care but am not sure how long i will be!

    February 27, 2013

  • Abhishek

I will be going for first time so is there any checklist sort of to keep in mind ?

    February 27, 2013

  • Rebecca De Grand D.

Is there a cost for that trail and what route will you be taking?

    February 27, 2013

  • Jo S.

Will we be able to rent snowshoes?

    February 24, 2013

  • Maryjane

I would like to get a ride. Im Coming from Sumner.

    February 24, 2013

  • Elizabeth

    My husband and I

    February 18, 2013

  • Jo S.

Can we rent snowshoes or is this a hard core group where everyone owns their own? ;)

    February 18, 2013

  • Danette H.

    looking forward to this!

    February 18, 2013
