Thanks to John C. for suggesting this. The parade is on Saturday, the 16th. I will be taking the Metrolink from Irvine, at 9:00AM. You can jump on the train, along the way, or meet up at Union Station (train arrives at 10:30AM, so we can meet about 10:45). From Union Station, we will walk north to Cesar Chavez, then west to Broadway or Hill. You can also meet us along the parade/festival route. We will find shooting positions on Broadway, Bernard, or Hill, so that the parade is coming toward us. I will send my cell # the night before.
The festival continues on Sunday, but the parade is only on Saturday.
Trains leave Union Station for Orange County at 2:40 and 4:40PM.
