Negative Tide & Sunset Shoot -- Laguna Beach

I know that it is short notice, but I just discovered that there is a negative tide, this week.

See above for directions and some photos.

There is a negative tide (-1 foot) at 4.34PM, so plan to meet at the bottom of the steps about 4.  Give yourself an extra 1/2 hour to find parking and walk down the steps.

I suggest a tripod for the sunset -- which is 5:06.  I like to shoot for about 15-20 minutes after sunset.  Don't forget to check the sky to the east -- in case the sun is reflecting off the clouds.  Sometimes, that is even better that the sunset.

8th 9th or 10th street, if you use Google earth just type in this location and it will bring it right up. You can look at the area on street view and the surrounding side streets. It will show you plenty of options
