Happy New Year

Hello Explorers, This year has been such an unexpected experience for me, and I hope everyone had a wonderful 2011 and is looking forward to new memories and experiences in 2012. I'm excited to see some activity on the site and hope that folks come forward to do some of the annual spring events - poppy fields in Lancaster, wildflowers in Anza Borrego, Torrey Park in San Diego - it's easy to just repost last years event and watch people sign up. I'm not certain when I'll be back in California, but I love to hear from my photo family and hope you continue to shoot everything. You can contact me or follow me on FaceBook ([address removed]) or through my travel blog www.angelawendel.wordpress.com. I'm most sorry that I won't be going to Yosemite with the group this year. I've done this event for the last five or six years with Laura, and every year Yosemite is more beautiful, more perfect, more photographable than the year before. For folks who were not able to get on the event, it is worth the effort to organize yourself to get to Yosemite while there is snow on the ground and the beautiful, peaceful park is open to just a couple of hardy visitors. Wishing everyone the absolute best in 2012, Happy New Year! Angela
