In my life, polyamory has meant freedom from having to subscribe to societal constructs that I find illogical. And, while it affords the obvious possibility of multiple loves, I think a major benefit of being openly poly is the chance to interact with other like-minded people. I love the poly 'tribe' as a whole :)
We like being socially and politically active in our community.
At present, neither of us have developed relationships outside of the two of us, as we will have just moved back to Cali.
We have one child, Cayleigh, who is 15 months old. I also have a stepdaughter, Marilla, who is six and visits occasionally.
I love the idea of a 'village.' Not to say, necessarily, that a huge number of people all have to be enmeshed romantically to achieve this, but I like to keep myself surrounded by lots of people whom I love in one sense or another.
Hello everyone! Hope you're having a lovely day :) I am Lauren. My wife Cheryl and I have been I have been active in the Dallas poly community for several years and are excited to explore the SoCal community!
