Wanting and being able to love is a good start. Realizing that there is a lot to love in a lot of people is too. Being open and honest, not usorious or duplicitous, are necessary ingredients. I guess that it means, to me, wanting to open one's life up to love and the loves in one's life.
I am interested in philosophy and think that in our post agrarian and post industrial society there is a need to redefine relationships. There seems to be less need for marriage and children, but still there remains the need for love and commitment.
I have 3 sons; 22, 20 and 17.
