Introduction

My name is Brian, and I founded SoCal Science Cafe. I am a Specialist and Officer Candidate in the Alabama Army National Guard and a Federal rocket scientist on the Redstone Arsenal. I like Science and the space program!

What interests you about science?

I am very passionate about learning and discovery. I also like space very much. Back at University of California, Irvine, I worked with the Chandra X-Ray Observatory satellite.

Why did you join The Science Café?

I heard about Science Cafe from people at PBS and thought it would be a great program to bring to SoCal!

How did you hear about The Science Café?

I'm the one who started the local chapter of Science Cafe -- SoCal Science Cafe -- so that's how I heard about it! I first saw the idea online at www.sciencecafe.net.

What Brian Hart is saying about this Meetup Group

The Science Cafe seeks to bring science to the public in ways everyone can understand and bring scientists down out of the Ivory Tower to interact with ordinary folks on the street. Join us!
