Guitar Blues Legend Oklahoma Ollie Saturday Night Live Blues Summer Series kicks off May 11,2013 with a launch party at Blu Bar @ Crown Plaza Hotel San Pedro and follow-up show May 25, 2013.

Oklahoma Ollie welcomes all Blues Fans & West Coast Swing Dancers to join the fun on Saturday May 11th and May 25th at the upscale Blue Bar & Lounge located inside the Crown Plaza Hotel in San Pedro, California. Live Blues Music starts at 8pm and the Blu Bar & Lounge will feature food and beverage specials during the entire fun night. There will also be a raffle for an Autographed Oklahoma Ollie Guitar at 10:30pm.

A well-seasoned veteran, Oklahoma Ollie has laid down his bass licks enhancing the musical talents of many legends including Etta James, Phillip Walker, Lowell Fulson, Willie Mae Thornton, George Smith, JD Nicholson, Lil Johnny Adams and more. Oklahoma Ollie has now begun a new chapter in his career. Having formed his own group,the "Blues Stand Band", he brings together all of his experience and showmanship to the stage. His CD "Good Man Around" is a collection of original songs that displays Ollie's talents while singing and playing lead and bass guitar using a variety of blues stylings. Ollie performs many live events including clubs, festivals, fundraisers and private parties.

Blu Bar, located in The Crowne Plaza Hotel San Pedro, relaunched a new menu of Pacific Rim Cuisine in February 2013 led by Chef Bryan Achay. The new menu has been met with rave reviews. Blu will be offering fabulous food and drink specials for this event.
