Community Mitzvah Day

The JCC Cares Group (not a singles group) hosts a Community Mitzvah Day every year and we usually volunteer and help them staff the event.

We do projects for Meals on Wheels; Food Banks; Family Forward; Animal Shelters, etc. Please email me @ [masked] if you can volunteer on Oct. 21st or register online at www.jccoc.org.

Also, we need the following items donated in order to do the Mitzvah Projects. We will have Collection Bins at the JCC beginning Monday, Oct. 8th or you can bring them on the day of the event.

· Toiletries (hotel size)

· Non-Perishable Food

· Women’s Accessories: gently used purses, shoes, jewelry

· New Art Supplies: Construction paper, small round tip scissors, glue sticks, box of 8 crayons, paint sets, small paint brushes, markers, stickers, glitter glue, small craft projects.

Thank you in advance for doing a great MITZVAH

It was a great day. There were ten stations were people could do a Mitzvah for a worthy cause and everyone felt great partaking in the projects. Thank you to the volunteers and the participants.

I thought it was great. To me it was well organized and everyone was having a good time. It was also nice seeing people I have not seen in a while. Most importantly we were doing a Mitzvah.
