This is a Nerdy Girls event, sorry boys. Please sign up in advance at http://www.funpolefitness.com/. One class is $30, and in February you can bring a friend for FREE, so it's really only $15 per person. We'll coordinate to see who's going to sign up and who's going to be the free friend (har har har).
Join us at Fun Pole Fitness in North Park for an intro to pole dancing class! If you went to girls' night out, you understand the importance of having pole dancing skills. You never know when they might come in handy! This class is designed for beginners with no pole experience (which is, admittedly, only some of us - you know who you are!). It can be an intense workout, so be ready to use some muscle.
*Only 10 students per class so we'll want to arrange the sign up ASAP! Call me at[masked] if you have questions.
*Beginners in Intro to Pole Dance classes may prefer to wear workout or yoga pants until you’re ready to do more advanced moves.
*We recommend you wear the stiletto heels from your very first Intro to Pole Dance class! (We go barefoot in most tricks classes). The platform heels are part of the FUN! We have the stiletto heels in the studio and they are FREE for your first class!
About the class: Everyone gets their own pole in all our classes! For beginners--for anyone with no pole dance experience. This class repeats each week, with the exact same choreography and moves, so you can do the same thing as many times as you want before moving on. We have Intro I and Intro II, so you can learn the 4 basic spins (IPF=inside planted foot, OPF=outside planted foot, BHG=blind hand grab, IHL=inside hooked leg) and be ready to go onto intermediate classes. Both of these classes (in any order) are required before moving on to Intermediate classes. They schedule may not say if it is Intro I or II, that is because I assign the classes based on need, so if have never taken a class, you can sign up for any Intro class. If you need I or II, email me to request I assign a class for you.
