If you work in Healthcare and interested in the use of Technology to enhance the tools care providers have, and you live in SoCal, this group is for you. If you are interested in Bigdata, Cloud and Mobile and want to discuss and see their case studies in Healthcare, this group can also be of interest to you. I searched before starting this group, and the same problem that faced HealthIT for decades still exists, at least in SoCal, there are great interest and venues for Technology driven initiatives (talk about bigdata for example) but hardly much is dedicated to Healthcare. Hopefully this group can serve to start the discussion, share knowledge, and interest vendors to concentrate more on Healthcare, there much more to run a hospital than a commercial EMR.
