Custom Yeti from Bicycle John's….used to have a Stumpjumper for 13 years, before that, another Specialized, before that, two other Mtn. bikes.
Every week since college.
On the endless single track trails and river wash roads where I live, a few times a week. Some are part of OHV Rowher Flats area; black diamond dirt motorcycling trails I sneak out on
I ride a few times a week on Angeles Forest trails right where I live. I've mountain biked all around the US. I learned to ride on trails of Tilden Park (Berkeley) and forested trails in Washington state -cold, rain and mud, etc.
So glad to have you a part of our group! You've already brought a lot of passion and excitement to our gardens projects and of course, helping with the social media aspect helps too! ;-)
Hi L.C. - Welcome to Fun and Sun. We hope to see you out at Lake McClure for an outing very soon! Our next outing is this coming weekend and the sign-up deadline in this Tuesday, 7/22. For more information about the club and our full Calendar, see www.fun-and-sun.org.
I understand your smart about meeting new people. Its a little over 2 hrs and I ddn't want ot drive alone out there just in case something happens. I learned long ago not to travel that far alone. I'm going to instead stay nearby and go up to Gorman around 10 Saturday. Let me know if you want to meet up there. I'll be in black ford raptor and park at the kids track off of Smoky Bear Trail. Tried of Rhowler Flats. Cal City is great also.
I was thinking of doing that ride. Are you only going out for the day? If so I live by Decoro & McBean let me know if you want to split the drive.
Laura, nice meeting you at the wakeboard event and great speaking with you. You were rockin' that river today! Enjoy the rest of your trip in LA. :D
