CSS for Beginners (Previously An intro to CSS for bloggers) September Meetup

We're changing the title of the meetup to "CSS for Beginners" instead of An intro to CSS for bloggers, since the topic is applicable to anyone using WordPress as a general CMS or as a blog :-)

Updated Outline:

Natalie MacLees will give a general introduction to how CSS works: syntax, selectors, and properties.

Suzette Franck will then tackle how to use CSS inside WordPress specifically - how to customize it, using inspector tools to figure out what to change, etc.

And to answer everyone's favorite question, yes, we'll have food and drinks there that evening.

For a October Preview, we'll likely be going with the 2nd/3rd highest voted topic: "WordPress Security" using the "new" Blankspaces Santa Monica location conveniently located on 2nd Street.

Good event, went a bit fast for me as I have zero CSS experience. Maybe a 2 day event next time to cover it more in-depth?

How about a location closer to LAX area or Marina area? Would have loved to have attended, but 1 hour plus travel ... that dog isn't that "klever".

Hi Auroriele, welcome to our WP meetup group. In the future, could you please post help requests in our Message boards. We'd like to this area for discussions around the event itself. Also people who are RSVPed yes to the event get a notification for these messages as well. So we kindly request everyone use the message boards :-) Thank you!
