I really learned how to incorporate social media into to my blog, which was my goal for the evening. Plus I learned about all the different types of social media and how to grow my social reach, an unexpected bonus!

Noel did an excellent job. Other speakers were good, too. Glad I went.

Suggestion: Start on time, and to hell with the late-comers!

Had a great time presenting, and the discussion of social tools that support the WP space is always interesting. Thank you all for coming out and thanks as well for the great questions about Dashter. I'll hopefully re-energize myself to brave the traffic and come out to the next one! Cheers, Dave [ [masked] ]

Also, for those of you willing to brave the traffic southbound, I welcome you to check out our meetup on Monday Feb 27 - Orange County WordPress (OCWP). Thanks again! :)

Good content. Especially liked Dashster. It would have been helpful if the presenters had included in their presentations the caveats about the "hazards" of using automated social solutions. If someone had not raised this issue afterward, many of us might have blindly implemented a number of these apps and wondered why our rankings dropped and posts disappeared. That criticism, however, must be taken in the context of an otherwise and overall winning meetup. You do a great job with these - ALWAYS worth attending.
BTW: the food was great - nice to have something besides pizza, and thanks to the sponsors for providing, and to you for setting setting up food. It's not expected, but always welcome.

I really appreciated the content provided and I did learn some things. I was very dissatisfied that after the effort I made to get there in time for the 7pm start, the event didn't start until 7:28pm. I understand that the organizers wanted to give time for late arrivals but I wish it hadn't been done at my expense. If they want to reach a minimum attendance number, I would suggest over-booking since it's certain that some who RSVP'd "yes" will not actually attend. Especially in L.A. !

Unable to make it tonight. Shoot. I second shaRon's sentiment about someone posting notes/slides and glad my seat will be filled!

I am not able to attend, but hope someone takes notes/slides and posts them on the meet-up page :)

Hey Noel. No worries, I've referenced that song myself a few times. I live in Pasadena. Anything off a Metro train line is great. I see that there have been a couple at Kleverdog and one at the Barnsdall Gallery Theater, both of which are accesible for me. I'm sure there will be one that both catches my interest and is easily accesible at some point.

Hi Daniel, sorry can't resist quoting the song "no-one walks in LA" Where do you live? We'll try to hold an event near your neighborhood in the future.

Aaack. I can't possibly get there anyway. I may be the only car-less designer in LA.

    Have fun!
