We will meet at Amy's and will be leaving from there promptly at 8am so please be on time! It is a 1 hour drive to our super secret caves ;)

This is a spectacular climb and the Hamm talus caves are epic. The climb is challenging and the caves are tight and narrow. This area is pristine, no trash, no graffiti, and as far as I know, we are the only group that know these caves exist. I want it kept this way so I'm asking that no one gives out or posts online the exact location or they will end up trashed like the Lawrence Welk caves.

We will be crawling into extremely tight tunnels and gaps between boulders and going deep into the gorge. I strongly encourage you to wear long pants with knee pads and elbow pads or you're likely to come out cut and bruised.

Please do not overpack with lots of heavy crap you don't need. The entire hike is up and over boulders and rock. There is NO trail. Whatever you pack, you will be hauling in the hot sun and holding up the group is extremely dangerous and ill advised in this environment! Everyone MUST stay with the group!!

Dammit. I got up late guys. I wouldn't be showing up for like 20 minutes. I'm sorry.... Not happy with myself... I was pretty stoked about this.

About the bruisws. These caves are very abusive. No one gets out without bleeding, bruising, or bragging about whose is worse. Best and biggest bruise or cut wins. LOL. No broken bones though that is cheating. Bring alot of water and electrolytes it's gonna be hot. I'm Goin in for a swim. You all know where. Hee-hee;)

    Trevor/Amy... Who's calling Captain Cowboy?
Last I spoke with him he said it'd be a good move to do this a few days ahead. He looses his dogs, and when so, thought we ought not be trying to share territory...

You wanna give him a call Jerred? You actually talked with the guy

      Done... We're good.
That's what the six-pack of OE's all about.
Don't worry about it, I'll make that happen.

I am so bummed, ordered my gear last night and work is sending me to Phoenix on Thursday on emergency and returning Friday on a red eye. The wondrous wold of IT... Is there anyone that would like to take my spot for this one? I truly apologize and don't want to give a bad impression by RSVPing and not attending. I can still pay the $10 bucks in my return if needed. I don't want to endanger the group with my lack of sleep :(

No worries, you're fine! You haven't changed your RSVP to no yet, so just switch that. If anyone is on the waiting list it will let them know. We appreciate your caution. See you next time!
