This Saturday, according to my girl, is another women's fight match. This time it's Ronda Rousey vs. Sara McMann.
We will not be attending because it is on the same night as the Murder Mystery.
HOWEVER, I know there are a lot of UFC Fight fans in our group so I am posting this on your behalf. Here's what I found online.
You need to decide what time to meet:
5pm Under Cards
7pm Main Event - Rousey vs. McMann
I am going to let you ladies decide when you want to meet at Gallaghers since I won't be there. Would anyone be willing to be the host and look for each other and perhaps make some introductions? We are going to have to rely on the comments section to coordinate so you can find each other. If you want to reserve a section inside or the patio, some of you need to get there early. I'm turning it over to you fight fans to make this happen!! Please don't cancel on the Murder Mystery if you are scheduled to go because we need each and every person that is signed up in order for the night to play out properly.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in action this Saturday night (Feb. 22, 2014) when the world's pre-eminent mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion returns to the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The UFC 170: "Rousey vs. McMann" pay-per-view (PPV) event features a battle of undefeated Olympians as UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey puts her 135-pound title on the line against top wrestling phenom Sara McMann.
Daniel Cormier will square off against one of his former mat amigos in the co-headliner, thanks to an injury to Rashad Evans, as ex-barista Patrick Cummins steps in on super-short notice to try to shock "DC" in the former heavyweight's 205-pound debut.
All that and much, much more.
MMAmania.com will provide LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the entire UFC 170 fight card below, starting with the Fight Pass "Prelims" matches online, which are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET, right on through the FOX Sports 1-televised under card bouts at 8 p.m. ET and then main card PPV, which is slated to begin at 10 p.m. ET.
Many of our readers check-in before, during and after the televised action to share their thoughts on all the exciting action. Therefore, feel free to leave a comment (or 170) before you leave and chat with all the other Maniacs during the show -- it always turns out to be a great discussion.
Keep in mind that we will also be the spot for the latest news, recaps and post-fight analysis after "Rousey vs. McMann."
