Cheap & Private BYOB Koreatown-Style Karaoke!

I once hosted BYOB karaoke in koreatown. They charged $7 per person PER HOUR + tax. I said SCREW THAT, and started karaoke at my place. I charge $10 -flat- for 5 hours of karaoke, 3 slices of pizza and 2 cans of soda. 100% non-profit click here to see how it's spent. (http://samisfaction.com/breakdown) I went out and bought 4 wireless microphones, a reverb mixer, and karaoke software with 25,000 legally licensed songs with guided lyrics and hooked it all up to my 6.1 surround sound system. This will be legit koreatown-style karaoke! NOT a bunch of youtube videos!

=========What you get for your $10:========

• 5 hours of karaoke.

• 3 Slices of pizza

• 2 Cans of Soda

• Unlimited popcorn (providing a volunteer helps make it).

The RSVP count is correct even though you don't see all RSVPs! Since we post on multiple groups, a script automatically updates the +Number (of guests) next to my name almost every hour according to RSVPs from all other meetup groups!

This is A BYOB EVENT. If you want alcohol you must bring it!

Meetup starts at 3:00PM karaoke will start at 7:00PM, so if you're coming only for karaoke I would arrive a little late. If you're in it for the board games I'd arrive early.

This meetup will be very similar to movie night but instead of a movie we'll do karaoke. You don't have to participate in karaoke if you don't want. There are several areas in my house and people can still play board games, beer pong, or socialize in the dining room/kitchen while others are doing karaoke in the living room. So if you're in it just to hang out, spectate, and play games, that's fine too.
