Bard on the Beach
Those who wish to participate in both will meet up with me to enjoy the optional wine tasting at 6pm, followed by everyone sitting together for Shakespeare's comedy "The Merry Wives of Windsor" at 8pm. Please note that you must buy your *own ticket* for the wine tasting, but I will collect *pre-payment for the play* and will purchase a block of tickets so we can sit together.
We will meet up at the Gift Shop for the wine tasting, and again to assemble for the play. Please indicate in your RSVP comment if you plan to also join us for the wine tasting (and whether you have bought your wine tasting ticket yet), or just the play; either way is just fine.
Tickets for the play will still be available for a while so I will place our block order some time in June, but the Celebrating Red & White Wine Tasting *always* sell out months in advance, so purchase your wine ticket NOW to avoid disappointment. Seriously. This will be the first year I have not missed this fabulous event by waiting too long!
"Celebrating Red & White" Saturday August 18 • 6:00pm • $30.00 (in addition to play ticket)
Join host Sandhill Wines for a special tasting of award-winning VQA wines from BC’s Okanagan region, paired with delicious cheeses. Book now for this popular event before it’s sold out!

"The Merry Wives of Windsor": It’s 1968 in Windsor, Ontario and English ex-pat Sir John Falstaff is hunting for a romantic solution to his money troubles. He sends an identical love letter to two wealthy local housewives, hoping to seduce them and enjoy their fortunes – with no clue that the two are best friends. Neither has any intention of cheating on her husband, but together they lead Falstaff on while plotting their hilarious revenge.
