Social enterprise: What is it, how does it affect us, and what can you do?

Come join us for an interactive discussion on social enterprise. There will be a new format that will engage all of us and will prospectively inspire action.

We will have special guests Danny Bocanegra and Josh Furnas who won the National Pepsi Refresh Competition winning $50,000 to start their social enterprise Selfless:

They will discuss what social enterprise means to them, their experience, challenges, and new endeavor.

About Selfless: One Tee, One Charity. Creative meaningful design gets woven into apparel where after each purchase, $7 is given back to the specific charity.

If you are serious about changing the world come join like minded individuals for an engaging conversation, we can't wait to see you there!

It's fun to see this group evolve. I came in at the end of "what it was," participated in discussions about "what it will be," and the other night began to experience what it is becoming! Many thanks to Jobelle and Mohit for taking the reins. And to my team from the other night (Mel, Alan, Danny) and everyone else who contributed to the fun energy in the room. See you next time!

I really enjoyed the S.E.T. event last night. For me, it was a perfect (and very motivating) introduction to social enterprise and social entrepreneurship, with valuable insights to compare and contrast with my consulting experience with for-profit and non-profit organizations. I particularly enjoyed the experiential brainstorming team projects. I look forward to future

Fantastic meetup. It was my first w/ this group, I really appreciated the format, intelligent discussion, and great people. Steve, I can't comment on your previous events, but it seems clear it is very capable hands with Jobelle & Mohit.

I'd look forward to further dialogue with each of the attendees. To all, please feel free to contact me through my profile. Thanks all! Cheers.
