TV/movies: Doctor Who, Star Trek, some Star Wars, The Matrix. Not as active of a video gamer but still enjoy it. Mostly using the XBox 360 to learn dancing and to liven up cardio workouts. I enjoy science of all sorts, occasionally glancing up at the stars, doing an experiment, keeping up with news. I've dabbled in holography, and hope to successfully return to it. I've attended a few conventions and dressed up occasionally. Of course, I'm passionate about computers/Internet/electronics as I've made them my career.
Aside from what I've already written, I do try a fair bit of things here and there at least once. As far as travel, I've been to a lot of the U.S. and love what I've seen so far of Europe.
Movie and show events are great, but I like to balance it out with some interaction afterwards at least. I see some previous board game nights that look like a great chance to interact. Maybe in the same vein would be a Wii/Xbox party of some sort, a trip to Dave & Busters or similar. I wouldn't say no to an interesting lecture with some discussion afterward.
I have an M.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering, currently starting my own business, and enjoy all sorts of geeky pursuits: sci/fi, science, some various gaming, conventions, etc. I also like travel, photography, and dabble in all sorts of stuff.
