This group is designed for Charleston-area ladies in their 20's and 30's who are interested in meeting new girlfriends and developing lasting friendships.
We do a variety of activities, including dinners, Pinterest parties, bootcamps, shopping, wine tastings, rock climbing, and even trips to the gun range :) And yes - most of our meetups involve cocktails!
Membership in the group entitles you to access a closed Facebook group where girls can interact with each other (get salon recommendations, plan impromptu happy hours, find someone to take your extra ticket to a concert, etc) as well as exclusive discounts to local businesses. If you're a local business owner or aspiring to become one, you'll also get access to the Entrepreneuress Lounge - a place where local female business owners can network and support each other.

Why do we charge?
1) Quality of members - people rarely value what they get for free, and we're interested in having girls join our group that are real and genuine in their desire to add girlfriends to their circle.
2) We're not just any Meetup group - we are active and plan a lot of activities. We're also targeted to a specific niche (fun, fabulous women in their 20's and 30's) so you're not going to be thrown into a random patchwork of people when you meet up.
3) Investment - It takes time and money to run an active group. Most organizers step down after a few months when the time and money are no longer worth it. We want to be around for the long-haul.
4) Discounts - we're actively soliciting exclusive discounts from local businesses, so taking advantage of these offers can easily offset the nominal fee for membership.
The cost of our group is comparable to a coffee and muffin from Starbucks. Is an enhanced social life and a valuable network of girlfriends worth it? We think so :)
New members must be approved by the Organizer

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
